Kompaï is currently taking part of the European project SHAPES, like you must have seen on our last communications.

This article is made to explain our mission on this project, and we will upgrade this article step by step.

First of all, what is the project SHAPES ?

The SHAPES Innovation Action intends to build, pilot and deploy a large-scale, EU-standardised open platform.

The integration of a broad range of technological, organisational, clinical, educational and societal solutions seeks to facilitate long-term healthy and active ageing and the maintenance of a high-quality standard of life. Mediated by technology, in-home and local community environments interact with health and care (H&C) networks contributing to the reduction of H&C costs, hospitalisations and institutional care.

SHAPES Large-scale Piloting campaign engages more than 2000 older individuals in 15 pilot sites in 10 EU Member States, including 6 Reference Sites of the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on Active and Healthy Ageing (AHA), and involves hundreds of key stakeholders to bring forth solutions to improve the health, wellbeing, independence and autonomy of older individuals, while enhancing the long-term sustainability of health and care systems in Europe.

What KOMPAÏ robotics is going to do in this project exactly ?

Kompaï robotics is going to manufacture robots for assisted living that will be adapted to work with SHAPES  and incorporate new features.

We will support the definition of use cases, support the elaboration of the user requirements, support the design and implementation of the SHAPES architecture and participated in integration and testing.

We will contribute to adapte our robots to interoperate in SHAPES and incorporate new features.

We contribute to Market Shaping for the project too, including the definition of the market analysis and the update roadmap.

We support the innovation watch, contributes to interoperability.

And we contribute to the online presence  and dissemination activities .
